He’s totally crazy, never says what you think he will and is going to make an absolute fantastic hero when he gets his own book. Out of all the new characters introduced, and there are many, my favorite has to be Zander, the polar bear shifter healer. She is kind and loving and a nice balance to Kendrick’s intensity. He is protective and loyal, willing to do anything to protect those he loves. He and Addison have nicely developed romance, that while might be characterized as instant attraction never veers into insta-love territory. I enjoyed getting to know Kendrick better and seeing the dynamics between him and all the characters previously introduced, especially Tiger and Dylan. While not my favorite, any book in this series is an enjoyable read as this author always combines suspense, action, and romance so well. She doesn’t expect to get caught up in a fight to the death between shifters while at work or to end up on the run with her dream man. One of the things she looks forward to the most is when the gorgeous man with the strange white and black striped hair comes in right before closing with his three kids. Now Kendrick is searching for a new home for himself, his cubs and the remaining members of his pack.Īddison Price is living a humdrum life, working at a late night diner and living in her sister’s house. A white tiger shifter who has served as both leader and Guardian to a den of uncollared shifters for close to twenty years until their hideaway is discovered and they are forced to scatter and flee.
